Spring 2021: Anglican Identity
Anglican Identity is a six-part series intended to deepen participants’ understanding of our tradition of faith and practice—Anglicanism. On Tuesday nights, from 6:30 to 8pm, Fr. Terry will lead participants to discover the richness of Anglican history, worship, sacraments and belief, so that participants will come to play an active part in the living tradition that is Anglicanism. Though designed to introduce newcomers to our church, this course will also help long-time Episcopalians to better appreciate the richness of the Episcopalian/Anglican tradition. Teens interested in being confirmed are also encouraged to participate. We will meet in the Parish Hall.
|April 20||Anglican History (Reformation to King James)|
|April 27||Anglican History (Restoration to Today)|
|May 4||The Book of Common Prayer|
|May 18||Anglican Belief|
|May 25||“Instructed” Eucharist|
This class will serve as the preparation necessary for Confirmation and Receipt into the Episcopal Church.
