Meal Packaging Program
Stop Hunger is an international hunger relief organization that coordinates the food distribution and other life-saving aid around the world. Stop Hunger Now’s meal packaging program provides volunteers the opportunity to package dehydrated, high protein, and highly nutritious meals that are used in crisis situations, school feeding programs and orphanages in developing countries around the world. The cost per meal is 25 cents. The youth group of Good Shepherd will be collecting 25 cent donations on Quarterback Sundays. The Kickoff will be Sunday 9/9 after church and continue through the end of the year. United Westover Hills Methodist Church will be organizing the community meal packaging event in January 2013. This is a great outreach opportunity for our church.
