Come join us for the Good Shepherd Music Festival on October 19, 20, and 21! Featuring one-hour concerts that are completely free and open to the public, our Festival promises to have something for everyone.
Friday, October 19th at 7:00 p.m. – Mary Boodell, flute; Alicia Romeo, harp; Neal Cary, cello. A program of works by J.S. Bach, Villa-Lobos, Arthur Foote and others.
Friday, October 19th at 8:15 p.m. – refreshments and hors d’oeuvres with the Brian Jones Quartet (jazz).
Saturday, October 20th at 3 p.m. – James Weaver, Baritone; Lisa Edwards-Burrs, soprano, and Joanne Kong, piano in a recital of the music of Purcell, Handel, Schumann, Ravel, and others.
Saturday, October 20th at 7:00 p.m. – The Atlantic Chamber Ensemble in an exciting concert to be determined by the audience!
Saturday, October 20th at 8:15 p.m. – refreshments and hors d’oeuvres with the Hot Seats Mini Band (folk/bluegrass/Americana)
Sunday, October 21st at 1:00 p.m. – Pocket Brass (roots New Orleans jazz featuring members of legendary Richmond band No BS Brass Band)
