The Raleigh Ringers:
From Ann Boelzner:
I hope you’re doing well and that you’re all still playing bells! Soon after I moved to OK I had the opportunity to hear The Raleigh Ringers.  You may have seen them in the past on PBS.  They are just amazing in person!! I noticed they are playing in Midlothian in late August and commend the concert to you! We miss you all — please visit us and we’ll give you the Tulsa Tour!
Blessings, Ann

Haitian Relief Donations: On Saturday, August 14, a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck the southwest portion of Haiti. This devastating earthquake was followed by Tropical Storm Grace on Monday night and much of Tuesday. More than 1 million people, including more than half a million children, have been impacted by the back-to-back disasters, and the death toll is close to 2000. Episcopal Relief & Development and its partners are responding immediately with direct assistance to vulnerable households in the region, as partners plan long-term recovery. Your generous gift can provide assistance to help people in the wake of these disasters. To assist in these efforts, visit episcopalrelief.org/haiti-relief.

Hospice Volunteers: Legacy Hospice Volunteers welcomes individuals who can volunteer either time or talent to hospice patients in our community. Even as the pandemic has changed all of our lives, the needs of our hospice patients has not changed.  Legacy Hospice takes the COVID-19 pandemic seriously and we follow all CDC guidelines.
Below is a list of some of the things a volunteer could do:
∙ Window visits with facility patients
∙ Telephone calls to our patients that are in need of companionship
∙ Making lap blankets, sympathy cards, prayer shawls and prayer beads
∙ Lawn care for patients and families
If you can help, please call Laurie Snyder at 804-937-1940
