Serving God in Richmond

The following organizations are among those supported by Good Shepherd:

Liberation Veteran Services

Liberation Lunches is an on-going ministry that meets the third Saturday of each month to provide bagged lunches for homeless veterans.  If you would like to help and make a contribution, we are accepting food items: including single-serving sized snacks such as chips, cookies, crackers, pudding cups, and snack bars, as well as juice box drinks. You can place the items in the kitchen in the cupboard under the back window, which is labeled “LIBERATION LUNCHES”.

Good Shepherd has been supporting this ministry for several years.  If you have any questions or are interested in making a donation or volunteering, please contact the church office. For those not familiar with this organization, Liberation Veteran Services assists homeless veterans by providing shelter, food and counseling services. If you have any questions or are interested in making a donation or volunteering, please contact the church office.

CARITAS

We join with other churches to support the activities of CARITAS, including the annual 43rd Street Festival of the Arts fund-raiser and the Women’s Shelter. Please see St. Monica’s on-going project in the weekly News.
